The Story:
I accepted delivery of the 1970 Tangerine Porsche 911E Targa on 24 October, 2014, after waiting 45 years to get the chariot if my dreams. One of 933 Targas produced in 1970 this Euro spec car was originally delivered to a Swiss doctor in Geneva, Switzerland, who drove the car for nearly 20 years before selling it to a French Canadian who imported into Quebec, Canada, where he stored the car until 2014. A cosmetic refreshing commenced in January 2015 and was completed by the end of June.
The car has 135,000 kilometers on the original chassis, original matching numbers engine and mostly original interior. The virtually rust free body was professionally refinished in the original Tangerine color and the 15" Fuchs wheels were restored in 2015. All the rubber seals and body moldings were replaced, mostly with original German parts, to complete the cosmetic restoration.
