The Story:
August 2002 - Stock '82 3.0 motor with PMO 40s and Electromotive Crankfire Ignition transplanted by Chuck Willmarth of Annapolis, Md. SSI heat exchangers, M&K muffler makes 204 HP and 214 ft lbs of torque at the flywheel.
June 2006 -Front pan and gas tank replaced
July 2006 - Recaro C seats and a Fittipaldi wheel help keep the driver connected to the car. Originally a sportomatic but converted to a 5-speed 911 gearbox long before me.
August 2006 - Entire suspension updated with ER Polybronze bushings, monoballs, turbo tierods, 21/27 torsion bars, Bilstein HDs, adjustable spring plates, 20mm front sway bar, AJ USA Strut brace, lowered to Euro height and cornerbalanced. 15x7 fuchs shod with Faulken Azena tires.
January '07 - Glass out body restoration. Rust through typical areas ... HL bucket, door sills patched and repaired. New rubber gaskets all around except Targa seals which are in very good shape. Includes spare and jack, owners manual, and tool kit. Targa top reskinned along with a new liner. Front FG S spoiler and FG rear bumper bring total weight after resto to 2300 lbs.
The body needed a bit more attention than I had planned up front, but will show quite nicely when complete. The only options added to the exterior are horn grill driving lights to complement the H4s and a nice black PORSCHE side door decal.
